"Straw" Poll

Will the real Tom Cyphers please stand up. I have seen 2 sides of this canidate and to be honest, I do not want one of those sides involved with our city. Be careful. You may not like everything about the other candidates but you know what you have- 2 people that care about the city work to meet the needs of the majority of the citizens.

The "real" Tom Cyphers that I know is an honest, conscientious person who listens to the voters and shares their view that a fresh approach to St Marys city government is needed. He believes in RESPONSIBLE (smart and frugal) and RESPONSIVE CITY GOVERNMENT (listening to the people and not having the Mayor and Council make major issue decisions without knowing the full facts of an issue), a PRO-ACTIVE AND AGGRESSIVE PROGRAM FOR TOURISM AND COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT, and a once-and-for-all RESOLUTION TO THE AIRPORT RELOCATION ISSUE, based on documented and well-publicized facts regarding the proposed move.

Rowland Eskridge deserves a lot of credit for having a done a conscientious job, but perhaps it is time for leadership with a fresh perspective.
